FAQs

What facilities does the cottage have?

The cottage has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area and has an ingle-nook fireplace with wood burner. We have Sky TV, WiFi, a DVD and CD player.

There is a cosy sitting area with wood-burner and lovely window seats with sea views. In the kitchen there is a cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge and fridge freezer.

Heating is by night storage heaters. Leading off the utility area is the shower room with WC.

Upstairs there is a double-bedded room with far reaching sea views and a twin-bedded room with further sea views. A gem of a garden overlooks the sea and coastline.

Is there mobile phone reception at the cottage?

Sorry, there is no mobile reception (many consider this a plus) but a pay-phone is provided in the cottage.

Is there any internet access at the cottage?

Yes, we have wireless broadband installed at the cottage.

Is there room to park a car?

Yes 1 car can be parked at the cottage and more in the free car park 100 yards away

Can I arrive on a Saturday and leave on a Saturday?

We can be flexible with days/dates out of season.

I have a budgie/hamster/gerbil/snake/wombat. Are pets allowed?

We do love the beach, but are there things to do nearby if it rains?

The Eden Project is 10 miles away and perfect for a wet day. Truro and St Austell have cinemas and swimming pools. Also close by is Newquay Zoo and St. Ives has the Tate Modern art gallery, to name but a few.
