“A charming cosy cottage in an idyllic coastal setting”<br>The cottage had a very welcoming feel and all areas were clean and tidy. There was every kitchen appliance you could wish for with a big range of utensils too. The fridge in the kitchen is a good size but it was also nice to find additional space in the fridge/freezer situated just outside the shower/toilet/wash basin room. The shower area is an impressive size and delivers a good volume of water. The living room was cosy and comfortable, although a couple of occasional tables for use at the side of the sofa and the armchair would be a good and practicle addition. The inglenook fireplace with a very efficient log burner is a lovely feature and was a joy on the chillier evenings. There is a table lamp tucked in on the left side of the fireplace which creates a lovey atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable with 5 star white cotton bed linen. Lots of good and varied lighting in the cottage to create the mood desired. The views from the windows, particularly from upstairs, looking out to sea and across the little bay are simply breathtaking and having the sound of the sea so close, especially when the tide is in, almost guarantees a good night’s sleep. As the tide goes out it reveals a sandy and shallow beach with lots of rock pools to explore. With it being literallytwo minutes walk from the cottage door, it almost feels like your own small private beach. It’s rare to find sensibly priced properties this close to the sea but even rarer to find such a lovely cottage in such a beautiful spot. Many folk who have stayed here in the cottage have returned time and time again and I can see why. It truly is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy this little coastal gem of a place from.
